At The Retreat you will find a spiritual solution to alcoholism and drug addiction based on the spiritual principles of the Twelve Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. We will immerse you in the twelve steps and use the power of community to help you recover. Unlike many drug and alcohol treatment centers and rehabs, The Retreat uses a community of over 300 volunteers to help carry the recovery message to our guests. We will surround you with people who are living their recovery at a high level, making a life of contented sobriety not only attractive, but within reach.

A perfect setting for personal reflection, our main campus is just 15 minutes west of downtown Minneapolis in the Wayzata Big Woods. The Woods have a long history of spiritual renewal and recovery. The Retreat also has locations in the historic Crocus Hill area of St. Paul. We are just 20 minutes from the Minneapolis St Paul airport.
