Who We Are
Tapestry is a caring, women-focused, residential chemical health treatment program, located in a warm, friendly residential neighborhood in St. Paul, Minn. We provide addiction education, health services, support and transition back into the community for women who are dependent on or abuse alcohol or drugs.

Who We Help
Women 18 years of age and older experiencing life problems with chemical use or abuse and women with co-occurring disorders and chemical health issues.

How We Help
We treat the mind, body and spirit through a whole-person, “one-size-does-not-fit-all” philosophy. This proven approach helps women simultaneously address their chemical health-related disorders and medical conditions that do not require hospitalization.

We embrace the spirit of empowering women by allowing each woman time to examine and re-identify her strengths and then utilize those strengths to move toward a better life. By eliminating distractions, she can identity goals, know what’s best for her and make healthy decisions.

Our licensed, caring staff customizes a treatment program that’s right for her strengths, issues and goals in a highly structured, supportive and safe environment.

About Our Programs
We use powerful principles from Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Women for Sobriety, Health Realization, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Family System Dynamics. We also incorporate the work of Dr. Stephanie Covington.

We work as a unified team coordinating with family members, concerned supports as well as any social workers, case managers, probation agents and child protection agents.

We also work closely with our outpatient women’s program, Avalon Midway in St. Paul, as well as with our “sister program” Meadow Creek, located in Pine City, Minn.
